Stop the yearly slaughter at the Calgary Stampede Chuchwagon races.

Calgary stampede ahs just celebrated it's centenial, and to celebrate, 3 horses dies diring the annual rangeland derby. Over 50 horses have died since 1986 and this total does not include all the horses lost in other rodeo events or the 9 horses who died while being ridden into the city. Animal activists were jeered by crowds this summer for protesting the deaths of the three horses, showing that not only must this slaughter disguised as entertainment must end, but the public must be educated on humane treatement of all animals.
