Stop 4chan and internet taint!

4chan is a website which focuses on image sharing and discussion. You may be thinking that does not sound so bad, but in reality the things posted there are not something anyone should be able to see. To name a few things that are posted and discussed, there are threads focused on "gore" which contains images of dead bodies or people being assaulted or killed. Most of this content is in /b/. 4chan has also started upset, torment and pain for people like the parents of Mitchel Henderson, who after losing their son were tormented for a year and a half with prank calls and items left at his grave. This event also coined the term "an hero" on 4chan as a synonym for suicide which was sourced from a spelling mistake of someone expressing their grief. This term is still used now, 4chan users have harassed celebrities too. There is also a whole section of the site dedicated to pornography (/gif/ and other forums) this shows revenge porn, aggressive porn, cartoon porn, in all honesty it is disgusting. You may feel that although this content is awful, it is contained within a hard to access part of the internet that no child could ever access. This IS NOT true. Teenagers can access this site as easily as any other, they can see the racism, the violence, the pornography and everything else posted to 4chan, including Nazism on certain forums. Although everything I have talked about may be your worst nightmare online, it gets worse. People commit crimes such as murder and post images of victims onto the site, police arrested David Kalac but there was no action taken against the site itself. Why should the tainted twisted individuals of society have a public area to mix with others and hone their sick minds? It needs to stop, sign the petition if you are in favour of a cleaner, safer internet.
