Homeless are humans too

We are homeless that are being forced to live in a tent has anyone lived in a tent before heck just even spending some time in a tent camping then you understand that tents are not meant to be lived in and are not meant to withstand a winter storm I am being forced to tear down what I have built to help me survive through winter I want to stay warm this year and in order to do that I have to keep what I've got but I can't do that without your help our city thinks we are nothing but a shame something to look down on that were a disgrace two the city we are not a disgrace to the city we are humans who have hey rock bottom far worse than some better than others but that doesn't make it different or easier or okay homeless should not be treated like we're disgrace dirt beneath your feet or helpless we've made mistakes in our lives we all have and we shouldn't be treated like garbage just because of our mistakes I don't want to be homeless more than the next person wants to don't get me wrong there are few people that just enjoy being homeless but do you realize what it takes to be a homeless person we have no means for money we have no means for food water transportation we do what it takes every day to survive my boyfriend goes down every day almost to fill up our jug of water so that we can have running water I go out every day to Panhandle so I can get gas for our generator gas for our car so we have a form of transportation don't worry wilderness if it weren't for the hard work that we do like my boyfriend chopping up wood for winter to keep us warm we wouldn't have anything we wouldn't survive life is not easy being homeless yeah we've made our choices that have put us in this position but this town definitely does not help us either they treat us like we're an outcast like we're not human like we don't matter what we do every day out here I survived I don't regret the choices I've made because they've made me who I am those choices that I made that have hurt me horribly make me stronger no do I like it I don't at all I wish I had my kids I wish I had never done drugs I wish I had never done a lot of things but I don't regret them because it's an experience. I would have never had I'm glad that I got a chance to be a homeless only for the fact that it's made me see what hard work really is I'm grateful for the things I got now I'm not saying that the town's not doing anything for us cuz they are we're lucky to have a camp to go to but it shouldn't be like that for us homeless all around the world we should care about our people we should care whether or not our children's children are sleeping in a tent or our nephew Aunt Uncle cousin sister brother Mom Dad any family friends how would you feel then being treated as if were disgraced disgusting disturbance scary to deal with we are humans too what I'm suggesting today is that you sign this paper to help us so that we may keep what we've built so we can stay warm and know that our structure or whatever they call this place will last through this winter attempt will not last through this winter especially if this winter is bad like they keep saying it's going to be I don't want to have a collapsed tent because of snowfall is too heavy I don't want the wind to blow through our tent because of wind storm was too rough I don't want to freeze to death I don't want to be cold I want to be safe and warm just like the rest of you please help us sign this paper to help us keep our humanitarian camp as they call it an actual humanitarian camp thank you
