No more Bovine Growth Hormone for our cows!

The Bovine Growth Hormone (rBGH) is a genetically engineered hormone manufactured by Monsanto. The hormone is applied once every two weeks or so in order to force the cow to produce more milk than normal. This hormone is somehow similar to the natural hormones in cows however when too much hormones enter into the cow's body, the milk that the cow produces has a lot higher levels of pus, antibiotic residue and carcinogens. Mastitis is a condition that occurs to cows when they produce too much milk, they become more vulnerable to udder infections and so the pus from infections ends up in milk. Monsanto's studies show that this hormone increases udder infections (mastitis) by 79% and that the use of it has increased digestive disorders, diarrhea, lesions in the knees, etc. To treat this infections, antibiotics are given to cows; and milk is one of the foods in which more antibiotics are found. In this way, not only antibiotics but also the hormones applied to cows reach the plates one everyone every day, which means millions and millions of animals that have never been outside, that live in miserable conditions are killed to bring you a piece of cheese that's completely unhealthy and unsafe to eat. On the other hand, milk is filled with carcinogens as the presence of the bovine growth hormone alters tremendously the bodies of these creatures. This carcinogen is called IGF-1 and when consumed it behaves as s cancer-accelerator. Of course as you can imagine this hormone benefits Monsanto exclusively, as the government of the US supported this company, the government decided to pay people in order to kill their cows and stop farming for 5 year. What type of people kill innocent creatures for self-iterest when it's not even necessary? This is Monsanto's thirst for money and the sad reality of thousands of cows and humans that are somehow consuming this hormone.
