Stop the Mosque in Lithgow NSW Australia

Plans to build a Mosque in the city of Lithgow, NSW, Australia is unacceptable. With terror trends globally at a all time high there is no logical reason or excuse to build a Mosque in the city. Lithgow is a predominately older coal based rural demographic culture. A place recently for retirees to move and settle down. It is not a place for rhetoric and conflict. Two factors that have constantly followed the establishment of every Mosque in Australia.

Please take a stand and protect the lcal history and way of life we enjoy in Lithgow and the surrounding region. We need to stop the establishment of a Mosque before things become difficult. As it is the debate on this issue has been cruel. Proponents for the Mosque have attacked and labelled any who disagree as Islamophobic, Racist and Bigots. Shouting down any real intelligent discussion. We need to stop this development before it becomes a real long term problem. History has shown time and time again that once a Mosque is established within a community problems start. Muslims begin to comp,ain about things they find offensive. Such as the sale of Pork in Cafes. Or the social activities that many take for granted such as Pubs, Clubs and Non Islamic places of worship.

Mosque Update: The application to develop a Mosque in Lithgow, NSW Australia has been declined. I will try and keep you up to date as things develop.

Hello,

Thank you for your support. I have updated the target for the petition. I accidentally posted a need for 100,000 signatures. Please let me know if the new target is showing as 5,000.

We will not be silent, we will not stand idle as our community in undermined by a despotic and cruel theological doctrine of control.
