Save The Polar Bears!

Save The Polar Bears!

Target:
Help the Polar Bear from falling off the face of the earth
Sponsored by:

Some of us know that the Polar Bear is going extint, but many of us have no clue what is going on.

Global warming is a world wide issue, making our environment go on a land slide. It is also the main cause Polar Bears are going extinct. Global warming is thinning the ice, which is killing this beautiful animals hunting ground. Scientists all over the world are concerned with the changing climate and how it may also be harshly affecting breeding (moving into extinction).

Wild polar bears will literally "fall off the face of the earth" before the end of this century unless the climate change is extremely addressed and slowed down.

The government is doing all they can to save the Polar Bear as NRDC (National Development and Reform Commision) is pushing President Obama's Interior Secretary to grant polar bears an extremely high level of protection with the Endangered Species Act.

Another major issue that is bringing the polar bear to their death bed is Alaska's government. NDRC is defending the Polar Bear at this moment as Alaska's Governor Sarah Palin and other major polluters attack the polar bear of its few federal protections to free up land for oil and mining development. She is also putting an attack on many other animals for her greed for oil and mining - like the Beluga Whale. NDRC is taking this fight to the courts, and need your help!

Global warming and Alaska's government is a strong combination to bring the Polar Bear down. The bear is now suffering from melting ice - they have to swim further from ice burg to ice burg. The water is also not the same temperature as it used to be, causing fish to move to a cooler water environment - a Polar Bear's main source of nutrition. Without food and shelter, the Polar Bear cannot live.

It is expected by 2050 that the Polar Bear will become two-thirds extinct. Sign this petition so we can show the government that we care about these beautiful animals.

Polar Bears are such beautiful animals. although they can harm you, that is no reason to not support them. they have been living somewhere so cold, that no one seems to care and go out there and try to help them, please save the polar bears.

Those poor creatures... They don't deserve it and it's mans fault! If we had become eco friendly EARLIER we could have saved a lot more, its getting really late now.

"Global warming" is not the problem. Mass extinction is. And it's man's fault. Man has been causing extinction since prehistory, and the proof is in the fossil record. And we're still doing it. Less than a hundred years ago, the passenger pigeon went extinct. And it took less than a hundred years for man to wipe them out. In less than a century, man wiped out a bird that was so numerous, that a flock could block out the sun. That's the power of man. But we also have the power to end the vicious cycle of death. Extinction is forever. We need to do everything in our power to protect the environment.

Palin and Salazar have no idea how much destruction they are causing. By not giving the polar bears protection they are all but killing them with their own hands. They are damning them to a rapidly disappearing home each year and lower populations. Before we know it they will be just something we can read about. We need to stop these people and help the polar bears before it's too late.
