Petition For A Decree From The U.S Congress through Title V of the United States Code (5 U.S.C. § 6103) or Presidential Proclamation form President Obama to recognize August 28, 1958, Michael Jackson's Birthday, as a federal holiday in memory of Michael Jackson.

This is not only due to him as a cultural icon but as an activist in the fight against bigotry and hunger. Anyone whose seen a performance, heard his music, or work in the music industry owe Michael Jackson a debt of gratitude, in my opinion. If you disagree with such a petition just simply don't sign.
