Stop the Cruelty of Angora Rabbits

Although Angora Wool can be extremely soft, what measures do they take to get the wool from the factory to the stores? It is a cruel trade that is based in China and funded only through our supply and demand. They take the Angora rabbit and abuse them by ripping off their fur while they are alive and kill them after they do not produce enough wool and are seemingly useless. It is hard to recognize the torture of these poor animals because the fashion industry does not want to reveal the hard truths of what some of them support. These animals spend their lives on an angora wool farm- in tiny dirty cages surrounded by their own excrement. The living conditions for these animals are incredibly horrible. For instance, the male Angora rabbit has a fur yield of only 80 percent to that of the female, so he is automatically killed after his birth because they are not profitable to the breeder. The rabbits that are seemingly useless are then sold for meat.

How do we stop this? Sign this petition so that more people are aware of the treatment of these Angora Rabbits and put the responsibility on the fashion industry. Sign this petition saying that you do not support the trade and will not buy from the stores that support the trade either. The stores that allegedly do not support this trade are H&M, ASOS, French Connection, Forever 21, Eddie Bauer, Calvin Klein, and Tommy Hilfiger. If you see Angora Woll products being sold from them, report it! Do something, it is up to US to stop this torturous trade.
