Support Massachusetts Legislation to Prevent Animal Suffering and Death

Friends know I'm deeply passionate about animal rescue and welfare. It breaks my heart to see an animal suffer.

That's why I'm asking you to support legislation in Massachusetts that would prevent needless animal suffering and death. Specifically, the bill -- S. 2369 -- tackles the dangerous and deadly consequences of leaving animals in vulnerable situations, particularly during extreme weather conditions.

Think about leaving a dog in a car with closed windows during summer. S. 2369 allows an action to be taken.

S. 2369 empowers folks who see a life-threatening situation for animals to intervene quickly and prevent suffering or death.

The bill also ensures dogs are not tethered or left outside for extended periods of time, particularly during extreme weather conditions.

For more information on the bill and its impact, please visit the Animal Rescue League of Boston (I'm a huge supporter). You can link on their website here.

Please take a moment to sign our petition to let Massachusets legislators know that you SUPPORT passage of S. 2369.

If you live in Massachusetts and want to contact your legislator in person, you can find them here.

Thanks for caring about our companion animals.
