Dear Governor Quinn:
We the people of Illinois are demanding you as the Governor of this state step up and clean house in your Department of Agriculture.
We the people of Illinois are demanding an investigation of State's Attorney John Boyd and his questionable handling of the charges in the St. Anne's puppy mill case.
We the people of Illinois are demanding that Joel Aschermann the St. Anne's investigator from the Illinois Department of Agriculture be fired.
We the people of Illinois are demanding you revoke the breeder license of Ms. Gorecki and Ms. Brownfield and make sure they are never allowed to abuse animals again.
Finally, we the people of Illinois have the power to change the course of animal welfare in our state. We will do this thru our enormous voting bloc.
It is time the politicians in Illinois listen to their constituents, we vote for you and then you forget us.
Thank you to all who have emailed, called and expressed your concerns about the St. Anne's 53. We need to demand answers and accountability from the Illinois Department of Ag and the State's Attorney's office in Kankakee. Now we need your help more than ever as we can not let these dogs be returned to the puppy mill they came from.
