Demand a Stop to the Trans-Pacific Partnership That Could Make Anime Fans Become Criminals

We cosplay and make our fan art because we are showing spirit towards our fandoms. The TPP threatens our rights to freedom of self-expression and our pursuit of Happiness with this agreement that could possibly put our hobbies in danger. As said on GoBoiano: "punishing criminals who steal others works for money is perfectly fine, but with the new provisions, the average fan can get tangled into a legal battle". We the community of Otakus petition against this for the sake of our freedom to express our fandoms!

We the people of the community of anime and manga fans demand justice against the TPP agreement. Our cosplays, fan art, and AMVs are in danger to be banned and we are to be subject to wrongful prosecution if this agreement is to passed. It violates our pursuit of happiness, as well as our rights as described in Amendments 1 of the United States Constitution. It also goes against Amendments 8 and 9 in said Constitution. Please redact the agreement or millions of people in our community will be denied these rights as they were born given.
