2012 Olympic Site Cats at risk of Starvation and Death

Target:
Animal Lovers
Sponsored by:
Please support the Celia Hammond Animal Trust in their bid to rescue feral and domestic stray cats which are at huge risk of being crushed during demolition work, or starving to death, on the Olympic site.  186 Cats and kittens have already been rescued by the Trust. We urge the Olympic Delivery Authority to allow us access onto the major part of the site to allow them to bring the remaining cats to safety.  Rescue work is carried out at night so demolition work on the site is not delayed in any way.

For more information on the plight of the cats at the Olympic Site visit http://www.celiahammond.org/ and click on the 'Latest News' page.

It is discraceful that the ODA will not cooperate and allow CHAT to help frightened defenceless cats.

This is so called progress, all this site will do is cost tax payers money and destroy wildlife. I couldn't care less about the London olympics, the billions that have been wasted on it so far could and should have been used for better facilities for health, wildlife, environment, hospitals, housing etc!!!!!!

Please give these cats a chance, what people don't seem to realise is these cats have feelings, they feel sadness, happiness, jealousy etc. They are innocent creatures who just need a bit of help from us humans to stop their suffering.

This is so called progress, all this site will do is cost tax payers money and destroy widelife (cats included). There are too many "fat cats" Pun intended, lining their own pockets without a care for the envioroment. Most of us couldn't care less about the London olympics, the billions could be used for better facilities for health, wildlife, enviroment, hospitals, housing etc, ect!!!!!!

Having reared a beautiful litter of kittens in the past, action must be taken to prevent this happening.

Common folks...there's enough terrible things happening in the world to add more. This isn't a big problem to resolve with abit of resourcefulness.

Absolutely Absolutely Disgraceful behaviour by the ODA. I am disgusted and sickened by their manipulative and immature approach to the welfare of these cats and Celia hammonds incredible work. This is NOT in keeping with the olympic spirit, sacrificing innocent cats and kittens through shallow ruling, lack of insight and frankly corporate arrogance. I do hope all broadsheet papers carry this story and the sacrifice of blackjack to name but one we know of. We need a national camapign this is utterly appalling. I am in no doubt that their arrogance is sorely misplaced and inhumane to say the least. if we are unable to achieve rescue and safety for all the animals whos land is being ravaged and are so dependant on our goodwill In the next life may you return as mice
