End the Export of Live Animals from Australia to the Middle East.

Livestock transportation is the movement of live animals, by ship, rail, road or air. Livestock are transported for many reasons, including but not limited to sale, auction, breeding, livestock shows, rodeos, fairs, slaughter, and grazing.

The MV Becrux, A livestock carrier, as the name suggests, is a large ship used in the live export of sheep, cattle and goats. They are specially built new or converted from container ships.

END TO LIVE A]{IMAL EXPORT

We the undersigned citizens of the World call on the Australian government to end the export of live animals from Australia to the Middle East.
Australia has laws - based on community expectation to protect the welfare of animals. lt is therefore ethically and morally unacceptable to export Australian animals long distances to countries where they will endure practices and treatment that would be unacceptable or illegal in Australia.
We the undersigned therefore call on the Australian government to end this trade and, in so doing, restore Australia's reputation as a compassionatae and ethical nation.
