We, the undersigned, believe that all pubs and clubs provide free plastic stopper devices, such as lids to put on bottles, which can lower the risk of your drink being spiked.
We believe this for the below reasons (and more):

- Drug-facilitated sexual assault is a terrible crime.
- About 25% of women report that drugs were a factor in a rape, a crime with a conviction rate of only 6%!
- Some of the drugs used to facilitate sexual assault or rape can be fatal when mixed with alcohol.
- Most sexual assaults are committed by an acquaintance or date
- The combination of drugs and alcohol act to exacerbate intoxication
