Ask leaders to end the persecution of Christians

  • by: Aaron Peterson

All around the world, there are Christians who are being truly persecuted for their faith. Some are dishonored, some are disowned, some are beaten, and some are killed.

Every year, the organization Open Doors USA releases the "World Watch List", ranking the top fifty countries where persecution of Christians is the worst. In 2010, the top five countries on the list are North Korea, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, and the Maldives.
Please take action today and ask these leaders to end the persecution of Christians in their countries.

We, the undersigned, wish to express our deep concern about the treatment of Christians in your country. We are very concerned about reports of continued harassment, arrest, and imprisonment committed by your government against Christians in your country.
We, who are deeply concerned about protecting religious liberty as a fundamental human right for all people, urge you to bring an end to the persecution of Christians in your country. We request the release of all Christian prisoners, and request that you promote religious freedom as a fundamental human right.
We ask that you intervene on behalf of all Christian prisoners in your country, and help them to return to their work of peacefully caring for their countrymen according to their personal faith convictions.
Thank you for your attention to this important matter. We trust that you will do all that you can to help those in need.
