Bring Back Queen's Homecoming

Essentially we ask at the very least to appeal the decision to change Queen's Homecoming to May. We think that Homecoming is a celebration of students and alumni alike that has become a strong tradition at Queen's University. Although the street party is growing in size, we ask that the situation be reevaluated and a better, fairer, more understandable conclusion be reached. At the moment Aberdeen street is largely populated by students and is widely considered the "heart" of the student ghetto. Many consider Queen's Homecoming Weekend the hub of Queen's pride and it would be a shame to lose such a celebration.
