Deny convicted animal abuser Albert Colburn's request for a service dog.

Convicted of 11 counts of animal abuse in 2010 for the house of horrors found by investigators on his property, Albert Colburn of Middleton, NH is now trying to get around the order that he not own an animal for 3 years by attempting to apply for a service dog. He sites a need due to a hip replacement surgery however it looks like a sad attempt to balk the system and get his hands on another defenseless animal. Let the judge reviewing his case know that animal protectors of the world will not stand for this.

We the undersigned animal protectors wish to express our outrage to the Honorable Daniel Cappiello who is reviewing Mr. Albert Colburn's request for a service dog. We strongly urge that this convicted abuser's request is denied and feel it is a ploy to get around his restriction of not owning an animal for 3 years. As a Registered Nurse I can without a doubt assure his honor that I have never seen to read any evidence that a service animal is needed for a hip replacement. It is the opposite in fact, they encourage mobility and physical therapy to a faster recovery. We humbly thank you for your time and consideration in this matter and pray you come to a fair and just decision.
Sincerely, Christine Kozanda The Patrick Movement Indiana
