Don't Trap Live Deer and Transport them to Slaughter

A neighborhood in Wood County, Texas, is considering cruelly trapping resident deer and shipping them live in trucks to slaughter. Being netted is terrifying enough, but these deer would then be tied, stacked, and transported in trucks! Transport is rife with loud noises, vibrations, and the smell of fear. Nothing could be more horrifying for these easily frightened prey animals.

Hunting is cruel enough, but if people insist on doing it, there ought to be humane measures in place. Certianly trapping them and transporting them live to slaughter in trucks is terrifying and inhumane for these wild deer. Please take this plan off the table.
