End abortion in the United States

Every person has the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. This is true regardless of race, religion, gender, or age. This is true for every human being, whether born or unborn. Please ask President Obama and Congress to end abortion in the United States, so that ALL Americans can have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
We, the undersigned, call on you to end abortion in the United States. We believe that human life is precious, and that the government should not play a role in degrading that life.
Since the Roe v. Wade decision in 1973, over 45 million legal abortions have been performed in the United States. That number is staggering. And while the passage of the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act in 2003 was a great victory, there is more to be done.
We ask that you pass legislation that would end all manner of abortions in all fifty U.S. states. We ask that you oppose the Freedom of Choice Act and other legislation that would destroy innocent human life. We ask that you increase support for abstinence programs, adoption, and crisis pregnancy centers. We ask that you protect innocent human life, not assist in its destruction.
