Brothers Against DoD Suicide Cover-Ups

Target:
Department of Defense, Pentagon
Sponsored by:

To patriots,

This petition is based solely on speculation to the fact my brother, William Timothy Dix, committed suicide while on second deployment for Operation Iraqi Freedom with the Engineer Battalion, out of Fort Lewis, WA.  William Timothy Dix was fatally found at 1000am with a gunshot wound to the head. It is reported that he committed suicide. As I am not convinced that my brother, William Timothy "Timmy" Dix would do such a dishonorable act, both to his family or for certainly not to himself, the United States Army also dishonors him by officially stating "suicide"  According to Congressman Moran's comments regarding an investigation inquiry on behalf of my family and I, the only report that was received is an official death certificate, which we had already had. This is not the action that we have intended our elected official lead in this matter.

Please helps us fight against miscommunication, mistrust, and misappropriation of information by being strong in numbers to not only reconcile the incompetent leadership that we are faced to deal with in Washington D.C. but also stand up for those that are being honored everyday in Arlington with truth for all families.

This petition is based solely on cohersion to the fact of suicide of my brother, William Timothy Dix, in Operation Iraqi Freedom with the Engineer Battalion, out of Fort Lewis, WA.  William Timoth Dix, on a routine second deployment to Iraq, was fattally found at 1000 am on the floor of a urinal with a gunshot wound behind the ear. It is reported that he committed suicide and this was the result. I am far from believing this incident occured the way it did according to official Army and US Military documents. I have known my brother all my life, in seperable, and it is strange that he would do something. I know in my heart this is not true and want to find out the truth. Please help win with strength in numbers to not only to dig deeper through red tape of Washington D.C. for my family but all families out there with doubt.

Very sorry for your loss. I sometimes wonder how many unexplained or curious circumstances of death are almost default-ruled as suicides; most often, it is resource-driven, though a letter to accompany the certificate would have taken minimal effort and would be the least they could do... Good luck, and again, my condolences for your family.

Something more than a death certificate should be provided as a matter of decency. This makes all the "data" that says the suicide is a problem in the "war machine". This "like it or lump it" treatment must stop.....all across the board on what ALL of us Americans have been subjected to.
