Michael Johns is an Australian singer and songwriter who was voted off way too early in American Idol Season 7. If 19 Entertainment foolishly passes up on giving him a record deal it would be a complete travesty for another company to not step up and sign this guy. He is a huge talent and made a lifelong fan out of me and many others I've spoken to.

We the undersigned feel that Micheal Johns was wronged in being voted off in Week 5 of the American Idol Finals. In spite of this early exit, we feel that 19 Entertainment Limited should do the right thing and offer him a record deal similar to the one offered to the contest winner. If they are foolish enough no to then he deserves a record contract from another company.
We say this because, frankly, Michael Johns is amazing.

I was a big David Cook fan, after Michael left American Idol. I have spent a lot of time listening to the tunes from Season 7, on youtube, and find that, as much as I love David Cook, every time I type in a song to listen to, it is Michael Johns I choose. I love to hear him sing the blues (Its All Wrong But Its Alright). And I would buy the CD he made with the band Film in a hot second, if I could find it in stock. he wants to sing rock and roll, and I will indulge him in that, if he will indulge us by devoting half the album to slow music. Thank you. An eager buyer.

I was shocked when Michael was voted off. He has an incredible voice and it would be a great disappointment to not hear more from him. All it will take is for one recording studio to give him the same opportunity that Chris Daughtry was given. He's that good and deserves a chance to prove it.
