GET PRESIDENT OBAMA TO SIGN EXECUTIVE ORDER

THIS PETITION IS TARGETED TO PRESIDENT BARRACK OBAMA AND TO THE 111 CONGRESS:

WHEN WILL PRESIDENT BARRACK SIGN AN EXECUTIVE ORDER TO OVER RIDE FORMER PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH'S VETO OF THE STEM CELL RESEARCH ENHANCEMENT ACT OF 2007?

WHEN WILL THE 111 CONGRESS PASS INTO LAW THE STEM CELL RESEARCH ENHANCEMENT ACT 0F 2007?

I applaud President Gorge W. Bush for initiation of allowing Embryonic Stem Cell Research to commence, however, the lines no longer are viable, out dated etc.

I am angry, disgusted, hopeful, confused, disappointed, and dismayed, as are 128,000,000 individuals living in the United States of America including myself who has had to suffer with Insulin Dependent Type 2 Diabetes for the last 19 years of my life, ( I CELEBRATED MY 65TH BIRTHDAY ON JULY 30, 2008, I AM NOW A MEDICARE RECIPIENT) today who want the passage of the Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act of 2007 unfortunately, vetoed twice by the FORMER administration. Thus, the reason for my petition...

Conservative politicians and the Roman Catholic Church block Stem Cell Research because of their own self-interest. From my perspective, I believe that Embryonic Clean Stem Cell Lines Research should be continued under the strict guidance of the National Institute of Health (NIH) and federally funded by the United States government.

These federal funds should  be provided not based on religious belief nor political intent. 

From my view point, let's insist that President Obama sign tHe executive Order NOW...  and get Congress NOW to enact into law the Act of 2007 mentioned above.
