GOVERNMENT PLANS STOP ONLINE TOBACCO SALES

Target:
Congressman Alan B. Mollohan2302 Rayburn House BuildingWashington, DC 20515Phone: (202) 225-4172Fax: (202) 225-7564
THE NEW BILL IS CALLED S. 1147: PACT Act SAME AS THE PACT ACT OF 1676 BUT THEY ARE BEING SNEAKY!! USPS WILL LOOSE THOUSANDS OF JOBS DUE TO THIS !

For you smokers in America that like to purchase (Non Fire Safe Cigarettes) and other rare tobacco may not be able to do this anymore. Right now a bill was sent to Congress that will halt all online sales of Tobacco, and forbid the postal service to mail tobacco products to your home. So forget about buying cigarettes in any other country or even domestic cigarettes online, by mail, fax, or telephone. The government is trying to take this away from us. Remember you can still buy non fire safe cigarettes online but that is going to change without your help.

This bill has already passed in the House and we FREE Americans will no longer be able to buy cigarettes online, by telephone, fax, or mail order.

We need to stand up together to congress and tell them "NO" and to vote no to this new bill. This bill has criminal charges up  to three years for buyers even if they did not know. So you could go to jail for buying a pack of cigarettes online.

Today you can still buy NON firesafe cigarettes online from other states where laws have not passed to require fire safe cigarettes. This is just another example of the government telling us what we can and cannot do.

I urge you all to please sign this petition and after we hit our goal this will be sent directly to congress by postal mail.

This is America and many people like myself enjoy having the freedom to order specialty cigarettes from other countries, as well as domestic cigarettes. Please sign this today to stop this ridicules bill.

One more freedom taken away... and more jobs lost, too. Why can't the government focus on what really matters to the American people? Go to the National Priorities website and see how they spend our tax dollars.

The pipe tobacco I smoke cannot be found in this area. I rely on purchasing my tobacco online. I would be very unhappy to find that I could not order the pipe tobacco that I like.

Why stop online tobacco sales? Government, please, just get out of my life!

I am a resident of NY and have supported Senator Chuck Shumer in every election. I usually vote democratic. I am beseeching you to NOT vote for the PACT act. Smokers are being discriminated against, no mailing online, higher taxes every year. On the other hand sale of Alcohol is being allowed to be purchased online and shipped UPS. Alcohol is still not healthy but because their lobbies are more powerful the government does not discriminate against them as they do against cigarettes. Please do not pass Bill S. 1147.

THEY ARE PUSHING WAY TO MUCH.I HAVE HAD IT, I'm getting off grid I'm going to start growing my own food and tobacco and i will make my own candy for my kids sense there taxing that now. That way the only control the government has on me is taxes. on job and home. If that don't work to keep the government out of my personal life, I will move to a freer country (if there is one)

As long as cigarettes are legal, there is no justification for this bill.

But how many more of our rights is the government going to get involved in? Has any one of them heard of the word "fascism"? Their elected positions are already in jeopardy with the Health Care reform being shoved down our throats. this PACT Act will be the icing on the cake if it passes. Then they will be one of "us" when they get thrown out of office. Will they understand us then? Will they understand that they work for US and not the other way around? Also, why arent cigars included in this ban? is it because its acceptable and enjoyed by the "good ol boys" on Capitol Hill? There are those that work in our country and are not paying any taxes in plain sight, using our Tax supported facilities and they have the blessings of our leaders!! And now they want to penalize the American taxpayers even more and make us criminals besides!! Cigarettes are not an illegal product, but they may as well be. Wise Up Politicians!! You are one vote away from being out of office!!

Think about this, now the post office is the only service that will ship cigs at a $1.00 a carton. If they pass this law , they will have to rase the postage rates becouse the post office will loose millions that they now make shipping them. I stop smoking and the non smokers will pay BIG time. You will see smoke shops open on indion Res. all over the us and you will have to drive to get them and the Gov. will not have a thing to say or do about it

I can think of a lot of other things you can do and buy online. Is the government going to halt all of those things too? We, as smokers, have been picked on enough.

Just stop it. Get out of our lives. We do not need this added restriction. I smoke and I will continuie to smoke so will others. I now grow my own tobacco in protest. I buy my tobacco out of state because they carry the brand that I want and have the best service. So pass this bill and kill the jobs. More lose for USPS too. Kill Pact Act S.1147

How many more of our rights are going to be sacrificed in the name of the greater good before it stops? Yes, smoking is extremely unhealthy, but it is legal. That said, why is my freedom to purchase something legal from a specialty store or another country in danger? PLEASE do not vote to allow this right to be taken away.
# 4:

This is the big power of the government to pray on peoples rights. We need to stand together and say "NO" simple... SAY no.. I hate these new fire safe cigs, and I hate that the gov has a plan behind the fire to stop us from buying cigarettes online.. Call your reps now... Tell them to vote No on PACT ACT 1676
