�Animal Planet has come out with a new show called "Jockeys," which portrays horse racing and the people who do it in a heroic and idolizing fashion. Horse racing is a brutal and inhumane sport in which the jockeys beat a horse repeatedly to make it run faster, the breeders kill any foal which is not within the specifications that they are breeding for, and if an animal trips during a race and breaks it's leg they put it down without trying to help it at all...without a second thought. For Animal Planet, of all channels to be airing this television show is not only ironic, it is a slap in the face for anyone who works hard to secure rights for animals and believed those at Animal Planet to "be on their side." Please sign this petition to bring attention to this travesty of a show.
