Save Bosco!

I am trying to help save a black lab named Bosco at Pelham NH animal shelter that is due to be euthenized for getting loose from his home and fear biting a sargeant there that picked him up.   I have been a volunteer at this shelter for past few years and just today got barred from there for trying to help Bosco's owner save him.  Over the past few weeks I got to know and love Bosco.  I played ball with him daily and fed and watered him.  I brought him bones and squeaky toys he loved.  He literally jumped into my arms to hug me each morning I was at the shelter.  I did not see one ounce of aggression in this dog.  He would jump into my arms and hug me each day I greeted him.  The owner now claims he may have bit due to sensitivity response from having his neck touched after his electric fence collar burnt into his neck.  But police are adamate about putting him down and we just want to send him to a sanctuary in TX that will let him live out his days in peace and happiness.  The town is worried he may get loose someday and bite a child hence their negative response to this idea.  But he is too beautiful and sweet to euthenize.  He like other dogs deserves a safe place to continue his life as a dog.  Please sign this petition in support of sending Bosco to a sanctuary instead of euthenizing him.  You could also donate towards his care at this sanctuary by going to their website and clicking on his photo  http://www.smilingdogfarms.org/sdf_sanctuary_dogs.html
I am doing this in memory of all the other black dogs put to sleep each day in this country.  They seem to get a bad rap.  His court case comes up soon to decide his fate.  This petition I hope will help save him.  Thank you for your help!
We the undersigned believe Bosco is worth saving by sending him to a sanctuary instead of euthenizing him.  He has been good as gold at the shelter where he is being kept where he has been showing his love and talents especially playing ball.  This sweet dog kept escaping his home and due to his improper training has a bite history although we now think it was due to his sensitivity from a defected electric fence collar he wore that burnt his neck.  All we want is to send him to a sanctuary out of state where he will be safe to live out his life.  He will never be around the public again.  This sanctuary comes well recommended and we have some donations already towards his care there.  Please don't punish this dog but let Bosco live instead by allowing this option for him.  It is not his fault he bit.  I have grown to love him in just a short time as a volunteer at the shelter he is at.  We are hopeful for a fair solution.  Thank you for your consideration!
