Almost 50,000 have signed our online petition, which helped force the government to suspend the sale of Ireland's forests. This is a great victory for people power, but the sell-off risk still exists. “Investors” such as Bertie Ahern's IFF continue to lobby the government, who plan to make a final decision this year.
