It has been discovered that Yahoo! Inc, is a 40% owner of Alibaba, a Chinese company that trades in shark fins.  This company is making sure that sharks are dying needless deaths just so people can have shark fin soup.  When they kill these sharks they throw them back in the water where they slowly die, suffacting.  They cannot defend themeselves and have no way of swimming off.  They die a painful death.

Caption Paul Watson, founder of Sea Shepherd, had ended all realtions with Yahoo! and its affilates.  Please help us by boycotting Yahoo! and writing letters letting Yahoo! know that you do not support their cause.

"In September 2007, Sea Shepherd Founder and President, Captain Paul Watson, wrote a letter to the President of Yahoo! asking, "Is this the legacy that you want Yahoo to leave-the destruction of the world's sharks for shark fin soup in China?" He did not receive a reply. Sea Shepherd urges its supporters to voice their opposition to shark finning by writing a letter to Yahoo! and its partners. Tell them you will not use their services until they STOP condoning the violent murder of innocent sharks. " - from www.seashepherd.org

Please at least consider writing letters to Yahoo! to tell them that we do not support this and that they should consider not supporting it also.

RE: Yahoo! Inc, Involvement in the Shark Fin Trade

Dear Mrs. Decker,

We the undersigned were saddened to learn that your company, worth billions of dollars, has to line their pockets with even more money with such a despicable trade.  With all the talk and with so many companies finally realizing we all need to go "Green" one would think that this would not happen with such a famous company. We would like to implore your company to please do research and stop this trade before it goes any further. We are very disappointed in your company at this time.

With all the money that your company makes it would seem that you would not need to be invested with this kind of trade.  Please consider stopping all association with the Alibaba company, in the name of our planet.
