Because the Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, has failed to take her oath of office seriously we signatories are asking the House to vote to either impeach her or replace her with a Representative who will take his or her oath seriously.

We the undersigned are aware that every member of congress takes an oath to preserve, uphold, and defend the U.S. Constitution, and we believe that Nancy Pelosi, in particular, as Speaker should be held to that oath of office. We do not believe it was Ms. Pelosi's prerogative to take impeachment off the table; we hold it was her duty to vigorously demand impeachment as this imperial presidency continues to wage war upon our constitution and our civil rights. Since the year 2000 we have seen nearly every one of our civil rights under assault: our constitutional freedom from unwarranted search and seizure, our rights requiring a writ of habeas corpus, and our freedoms of assembly and free speech.
We The People of the United States who have been endowed with certain inalienable rights do hear-by appeal to the House of Representatives to recall Ms. Pelosi and/or Impeach Ms. Pelosi as to ensure those rights as guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution and give us a Leader who will Up-Hold the Constitution of the United States of America and all the responsibilities thereof.

Nancy Pelosi has reneged on her responsibility as a representative of the people by taking a partisan position on the Iraq war instead of supporting our nation's interest in seeing this war to a successful conclusion. She has opted to use her policies regarding it as a tool for personal political power. Secondly, her success in holding off the trade agreement with Columbia does great damage to our relsationship with that country as well as put the world on notice that the United States cannot be trusted to follow through on its committments. She has consistently refused to make a priority the best interests of our nation.

Madam Speaker, I am just one person, but my thoughts are the same as many others in this country, and that is, You are in that office to SERVE the people of the US. I have the highest respect for every Congressman who has stood up for the Constitution and demanded the protection of the Bill of Rights. While I have nothing but destain and SHAME for the cowards in Congress who hide in the shadows and pretend everything is just fine. It is time for the PEOPLE to take back this country and remove the Crooks, "Murderers" from the White House, and the cowards from the Congress, so we can feel safe in our own homes again.

An illegal, draining, debilitating and endless war, and incompetent activism about every single thing Bush touches and yet Pelosi cannot bring herself to do her constitutionally-mandated duty. Simply put, she is unAmerican for not upholding the Constitution which literally defines this Country. She is an accomplice to the worst Administration in the history of this Country. As Speaker of the House Pelosi has supported funding for the illegal war/occupation in Iraq and Afghanistan, the illegal occupation of Haiti, the Columbian reign of Terror, the bullying of Iran, Cuba, and Venezuela, as well as Israel's scorched earth policy in Lebanon. Why hasn't Pelosi seriously investigated the predatory lending scams that created the foreclosure crisis? She has failed to call for hearings on Katrina, the warrantless wiretappings of Americans, and the removal of habeaus corpus from the judicial system. In addition, Pelosi has refused to call for impeachment hearings for Bush and Cheney, thereby violating her oath to uphold the Constitution. Meanwhile the bomb them up and rebuild them tactic by the military/security/rebuilding/oil industrial complex reaps record profits to the detriment of the American taxpayers, and the everyday people in these countries, and the end result is bankrupting the United States. In 2006 a number of concerned Americans thought that having a Democratic majority in Congress would put an end to Bush's criminal activites, and usher in change. Instead of fulfilling their mandate that the majority elected them for, Pelosi and the Dems are wimping out again in the same manner as the six years prior to that. Pelosi is all about politcal gain and not wanting to risk '08 which if the Dems win it will only be by default again and not because they've earned it. Ms. Pelosi, either grow some and serve the people who relected rather than your coporate interest handlers or your impeachment will be on the table and either way you will losing your job next term. And to think the Dems are always dismissing the Greens' argument that there is no difference between to two major parties.

As proud as I was to have a woman as speaker, I am equally ashamed that you fail to listen to the people you represent. You work for us, we demand impeachment of you for failing to live up to your sworn duty. We did not "take impeachment off of the table or out of the constitution.
