The modern-day penalties for crimes against animals have done very little to stop the
slaughter and abuse of millions of animals.

Each year, millions of animals are abused and killed by heartless people. Even a small
addition to the penalties could very well save hundreds if not thousand of lives of animals.

Please increase the penalties given to the abusers of animals.

It seems that people have always abused animals, no matter what the penalty.
If the penalty is increased severely, we may see results.
