For the past 28 years the Penticton Community Centre has been successfully providing Penticton and area families with a wide range of affordable family friendly fitness, health and arts programs. Could this all change? The Community Centre is the heartbeat of Penticton; let's keep it going strong!
Recently the sitting Mayor and Council while undergoing a core service review and in lieu of the Community Centre renovations have laid off all Community Centre employees. This wealth of knowledge, expertise, and the high standard of service may all be lost due to the lack of open communication not only with the staff but the public. It's important to stay true to the council's mission statement and these lines of communication need to remain open. By working together, our community centre will once again provide high quality affordable programming for all Penticton's citizens.
