They gave a good plant a bad name
I've suffered from insomnia and O.C.D for several years and I've been through all kinds of treatments, taken all types of sleeping pills but nothing worked. then one day my doctor advise me to try cannabis and I tried it, It works perfect and It's not addictive. The pills I used to take never worked and It made me feel awful the next day, i couldn't study or go to work, it was driving me insane. Now all I do is smoke a little joint before going to bed and I sleep like a baby and wake up fine the next day, happy again. Now I do not smoke for recreational purposes but I still think alcohol, pills have killed/is still killing a lot of people around the world. of course if they should legalize it they should make some rules but it would certainly save a lot of people and would defnitely help the economy.

not only cannabis but everything should be reconsidered such as other drugs prohibitions and like the fuels we're burning wich cannabis can replace them.. It's a weird world.. Let's think about using the world in the most natural way we can. Otherwise the future of all life (mostly mammals) on this planet is at risk..
I would like some marijuana clothing so it would resist a lot of years, and i want to smoke so i can " calm the pain " from the stress of day routine and to be able to concentrate in work that i do.
If alcohol is legally regulated marijuana should be too. If you take the criminal element away marijuana use will be much safer & the USA will make money on taxes/fees.

Cannabis laws are outdated and baseless. There are millions of Americans who use cannabis responsibly but the current laws often force them to associate with some unsavory people to purchase it. I have seen countless people robbed or put in other dangerous situations just trying to purchase a bag of weed so they could go home and relax with a joint.
Cannabis is used medicinally for a number of reasons. It can relieve pain from serious illnesses like cancer, and can also relieve anxiety and other minor problems. Cannabis is far less dangerous than cigarettes or alcohol, yet these drugs are legal. Many studies show that teenagers have more difficulty purchasing cigarettes or alcohol than they have purchasing cannabis. Legalization of cannabis will produce tax revenue for the states and federal government and will eliminate the legal problems for millions of productive, politically active Americans who enjoy using cannabis.
This is but one voice, one petition for the legalization of cannabis: I think it is time, as individuals and as a first world nation, that we recognize not only the difference in strains of this plant, but its sustainability and potential to revolutionize our chaotic world. I am 100% for the legalization of Cannabis and in my humble opinion, this piece of legislation is long overdue. It makes more sense and cents in terms of sustainability (and not to mention profitability) to legalize this wonder plant. Whereas a tree takes a minimum of 24 years to mature for harvest, cannabis is an annual crop. There are more uses and products that can be made from cannabis than trees. Bear in mind these are just a couple examples. There are thousands more!! We have only to look at our past, the history of other civilizations and the wreckage we are doing to our planet to make an educated decision in regards to cannabis' legalization. We have no time to waste. Our world is waiting!!!

It makes me so angry the puritans in this world want to dictate how each person lives their lives. Until cannabis prohibition ends our world will continue to deteriorate and every living creature will suffer. Prohibitionists make me sick, I hope they all get cancer and die.
If cannabis were legal the people that have been oppressed for so long will once again feel like they belong and will put all there efforts into making the world a better place. Instead we send them to jail and make them hate everyone. It' sthe only logical thing to do. Prohibitionists need to mind their own business and let humans be humans not slaves.

i have used cannabis for 25 years for depresion,artheritis, scoliosis,and insomnea.I dont no why a doctor can prescribe you chemicals that are bad and you cant have a natural thing like cannabis to help you

I don't understand how alcohol can be legal but pot isn't???? Pot grows natural and has a lot of benefits to it as well. What are the benefits of alcohol????? If the government legalized pot our economy would benefit greatly. I am more afraid of man made drugs, alcohol included than I am a little bit of pot. I think our tax dollars are being wasted.
