SET RULES FOR THOSE WITH A HABIT OF SURRENDERING THEIR PETS

Animal ownership and care education are urgently needed in our community!

An excess of people have the habit of discarding their pets without any remorse! While creating an overflow of animals at the shelter, that results in more animals being killed due to lack of space!

Pets are not an exchangeable commodity to be abandoned without regrets!

Create awareness to help increase commitment and responsibility, with rules for those people who have the habit to surrender their pets. They should not be allowed to adopt from the shelter for one year.

Thank you

To Mr. Munoz,

There are people in this community, who have the habit of dumping their animals at Miami-Dade Animal Services. This recurrent undertaking creates an overflow of animals; therefore reducing the space which results in more killings due to lack of space.

To help educate these residents, why not add to the free of charge surrendering of pets notice an insert where it is stated that those who constantly return their pets to the shelter would not be allowed to adopt any other pet from the shelter for about one year?

Thank you
