Life in jail is the only punishment, even then it's not enough.
They need to work in animal shelters at least a year for free..And their parents should be there too Where were the parents when they hearless children committed such an act of cruelty?
they should receive the maximun amount allowed in this state and made to go to vets offices and clean cages and be around people that love and respect their animals, with a sign around their necks saying I was horrible and cruel to a poor innocent cat.
This is absolutely unbelievable. What's next for these boys...perhaps a child!!! They deserve the most severe punishment that could be possibly given. I can't even look at this poor creature. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. If they don't get what they deserve on earth, they will get it in hell!
6 months in jail, payment for medical expenses to the cat, and a letter written to the owner consisting of nothing but true sincerity.
Should serve some jail time and be required to pay for all medical costs related to taking care of the poor cat.
i did 36 months in prison for playing poker so i hope at least that much, but knowing the justice system (which sucks ass) they will get away with nothing and eventually take a human life because thats where there heading at.

Since we no longer prescribe to the "eye for an eye" philosophy, I think prison time is warranted in addition to financial consideration for the organization that provided assistance and care for this poor cat. Truly, I am sickened and saddened...

I THINK THAT THE PUNISHMENT FOR ANY ANIMAL CRIME SHOULD BE JAIL TIME - MIN. OF AT LEAST 1 YEAR IN JAIL.
There is no resonable punishment. How can you place reason with an act that is so unreasonable.
These youths should be put in prison for some time, never allowed to own an animal and serve time helping animals.
Under the law, they will be tried as juveniles, but hopefully, the sentence imposed will be strict enough to leave a lasting impression on these boys to change their behavior. If not, we'll see them again in some other terrible crime at a later date.
Jail time see what it's like to torture and kill a poor animal by doing time in jail see what it's like to do something horrible and pay the consequences for it. Justice needs to be served.
I think that juvinile detention and alot of therapy is needed in this case.Their home lives need to be deeply looked at.And their faces need to be posted.I understand that they are juviniles..but as a mother..I say let the public know who they are.If this is not treated correctly,we will have killers in our neighborhoods.
I think the kids who did this should have their fingers burned a little... an eye for an eye.

Those boys know the damage they do, those boys have a bad hearth, bad feelngs, and are dangerous for society, mabe they are future killers of human if you don`t punishe them with jail... because they are so dangeorous since this age, they become even more dangerous if you don`t put a stop with a sever punishment that teach them to respect the right to live of innocent cats. |
At the very least, these people need psychiatric evaluations. Probation is far too kind to them. Please, prosecute these ruthless people as adults, before they can harm themselves and the community more than they already have.
