marriage rights petition

Target:
 everybody
Sponsored by:

Hello, my name is BJ Stasio. I would like to marry my girlfriend, but it would mean that i would lose all my medical coverage. Now the only reason this affects me is that  I have cerebral palsy. The government is threatening to take away my benefits if I was to get married, which would put all my expenses on my girlfriend. My expenses are too much for her to handle, and i would not want to put that kind of burden on her. So please sign the petition and help me make my dream come true. Thank you for your time, you are greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Why can't this young man be supported to experience a full, rich life?

In a country where citizens are said to be free to pursue happiness, we seem to be contradicting ourselves in many cases such as these.

Letīs fight for the right to love... No one should tell you how to love or which person to love, when and where to love. Letīs free our minds and support love rights. Life is only one and true love as well.

everyone deserves a chance at love and happiness why should the government play god in deciding his future we live in a supposedly democratic world. All the best to you and your future wife may you have many long years of wedded bliss

Why is the government giving you 'benefits' in the first place? Even if the government were to take that away, your girlfriend wouldn't have to provide for you! Get a job, and you won't need the benefits, and you'll be ready to marry the girl!

Laws and policies that nurture the institution of marriages inspired by love and commitment without tramping on anyone else's rights, that may be a little advanced for our civilization, but here's hoping someone can make the stretch. Also, think of the savings in caregiving and mental health services when more people with disabilities can marry freely.

Marriage is the best thing that can happen, the insurance companies really are inhuman!! I hope you'll achieve your goal and that you both will live happily ever after ^^

I totally agree, anyone should be allowed to marry anyone they want. government can't take that right away.
