Medical Marijuana in Nebraska

allow medical use of marijuana in nebraska
charge an undisclosed amount for each person who wants a medicinal pass/card
dispensories open to serve patients with green cards
dispensories create jobs, bring in tax money, only distribute to registered medical patients
dispensories immue from federal level of prossescution

We the undersigned are not for full legalization of the use of marijuana in Nebraska. We want to be allowed and introduced to Medical Marijuana on a similar level to that of early California. Full legalization of Marijuana is not a realistic thought at this time. We want to put Marijuana legally in the hands of those who are already using it on a regular basis. This is important to keep in mind as we are not trying to allow access to marijuana to just anybody that wants it. President Obama said that legalization of marijuana is not a good strategy to grow our economy. This just tells me that our esteemed president doesnt realize the scale of the Marijuana culture that the United States has already created.  With the appropriate amount of support from voters and petitioners in Nebraska we can reach California's medicinal allotted level of Marijuana. With this law will come custom rules and regulations upon receiving a medicinal card which will be in complete favor of the state financially. Marijuana was originally taxed with the Marijuana Tax act of 1937 to prevent non-whites from smoking marijuana legally.  Patients then who are allowed to possess Marijuana in Nebraska with their card will pay a tax on each purchase they make. I want to furthermore entice the Unicameral Legislature in the thought of charging an undisclosed amount for the medical cards to set aside any financial questions.

Whether or not medical marijuana is allowed in our state, the people who use marijuana are going to continue use, plain and simple. Why not make some money off of a concept that is literally "money growing on trees."

The people of Nebraska who want the green cards will pay for them...and the United States government will benefit from allowing this in "The Good Life" state when patients are allowed medical cards.
Thank You for taking the time to read what Nebraskans have on their mind whether you agree with the issue at hand or not.
