Opposing The Largest Animal Testing Site In Asia.
On February 19th 2011, Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited will open what will be the largest animal testing ground in Asia.
At their laboratory in Shonan, Kanagawa, a short distance from Tokyo, Japan, Takeda Pharmaceutical has the facilities to burn anywhere up to 900 kilograms of dead animal carcass' on a daily basis, making this one of the biggest and most horrific animal testing sites in the whole of Asia.
This petition's aim is to persuade the Japanese government to restrict the companies activities and install a regulation on the premises in regards to the animal welfare laws.
Also, the undersigned request that the information on the kind of animals being used, how many animals are kept within the facilities and where they actually aquire these animals from along with the reasons behind the testing to be released to the general public for all to see.
