Petition President Obama to save our birds

Dear President Obama:

We write as concerned citizens about the state of our environment. We are dedicated to protecting the health of our children, communities and wildlife.

Mr. President, there has been increasing environmental awareness. Yet we face the extinction of once common species in our time.

We know the worlds problems are complex but we urge you to take immediate action on behalf of greatly needed wildlife. As you know honey bees, birds, bats and frogs are an important part of our ecosystem and they are in peril.

It has come to our attention that many millions of birds are dying at communication towers in this country each year. We are distressed that nothing is being done about this. We are also concerned that over 100 thousand towers that criss cross this country are emitting harmful electromagnetic radiation that may be harmful to humans and wildlife. This needs to be addressed Mr. President.

The implications for our existence are frightening. Citizens across this country are becoming alarmed by the lack of animals in our own backyards. We need your administration's help.

The simple truth is that without natures balance human health will suffer.

We cannot expect you to address all of the environmental concerns at once, Mr. President but we would like to hear that your administration will take every step necessary to avoid any further harm to our country.

Thank you, Project Bye Bye Birdie
