Bella, Boots and Poppy being Emotional Support Dogs

Please allow Poppy, Bella and Boots to live out their natural lives.

Target:
Honorable Judge Metzger
Sponsored by:
Poppy is now safe.
But now, I need your help in keeping our 3-lb. dog, Boots (all 3 are pictured doing their Emotional Support Therapy. They are the reason I can sleep).
My husband and I are disabled. We live in chronic pain. Regardless of 3 letters from my Doctor saying they are Emotional Support Animals,(http://www.bazelon.org/issues/housing/infosheets/fhinfosheet6.html), and two letters from our Vet stating we go above and beyond taking care of our 3 tiny  dogs, a petition with 1,100 signatures, we are still being taken to court on April 8 to either comply (2 dogs), or we may face eviction. We both live on disability.

WE ARE SEEKING A PEACEFUL RESOLUTION.

DO NOT CALL THE OFFICE OR ANYONE RELATED TO MANAGEMENT! BOTH SIDES HAVE ATTORNEYS. YOU WILL BE ON YOUR OWN IF YOU DO!

Our previous petition had 250 hits a day! But now that Poppy is safe, the focus is now on Boots 3-lbs. We want to keep all 3 together as family.

Poppy is on Hospice care. His passing will be excruciatingly painful as it is-let alone giving up tiny little Boots to a foster home until he passes away.
We see no reason to break the family up because we literally do not bother anyone.
Once Poppy passes, we will have the two dogs and will promise not to get another, eventually having just one dog.
Boots came to us from next door. Our back door goes into the prior owner's yard. Boots fell in love with us and we would have to return her several times a day until we all gave up! We tried to find another home, but after time passed it became more difficult and Boots and I are inseparable. She was previously registered with the park and she's fully grown at 3-lbs.
I honestly thought that it was alright with the office to keep her. I was misinformed. I handed in an update sheet and then our lives became almost unbearable.
All of our dogs are quiet and we are with them 24/7. We are asking management to make an exception to their rule. Two were accepted BEFORE we moved in.
The only difference is Boots at 3-lbs. We feel that we should be allowed to keep the three together. Poppy is on Hospice and then after he passes, we will have the two.
And why give Boots to strangers? Who could we trust? What about her medical condition without us? What about my disability without her? (My health has become severely worse because of what we are going through). What if she gets hurt or runs away? Or what if they won't give her back?

Please let us just keep our quiet little family together and let them do their jobs in peace.

We are already going to lose Poppy sometime soon. This is painful enough!

Please do not make us choose to get rid of our beloved and needed family member too. Or get evicted from our mobile home with no time to sell it, with no place to go and no money to move on.

We, the Petition Signers, hope that Poppy, Bella and Boots can live their lives with the people who love, need and care for them without any other threats upon their family.
It is enough that Poppy is on Hospice and the family may lose him in the near future. The family does not need to go through further pain and sorrow over giving Boots to strangers. (Would you give your child to a stranger?) And very possibly not given her back.
We feel this is not an isolated case and this petition is indicative of other disabled people who are struggling to have their pets taken seriously as a healing influence in their lives.
Please allow an exception for this family to stay together and live in peace.
Sincerely,

Honorable Judge Metzger can you not be so cruel, and let these two beautiful people, continue to live and care and love these beautiful pets of theirs. They are their children and they all need each other. This is not fair and We Will All Distribute this to Big Media and Start Letting those “Useless Talking Heads on TV News” know what’s really worth reporting to the world… And they will Report it as we will also through our blogs.. … … I’m sickened and disgusted. I’m sickened and disgusted. I’m sickened and disgusted. I’m sickened and disgusted. I’m sickened and disgusted. THEY PROMISE TO NOT GET ANY MORE DOGS SO WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?!! Their quite dogs and there's no excuse to take them away from them.. Do not make them destroy their family, and get rid of their babies... Leave them alone.. Pets are family and should not be denid their home. How dare the voice of the people be shut down.

Please show these people compassion. One dog, Poppy, is on hospice and these people need, for their sanity, to be allowed to keep Boots. There are exceptions to every rule and I hope you make this as the one exception.

Dear Judge Metzger, please hear this couple's plea for a period of grace. Since these dogs are no bother to anyone else, and are indeed emotional support for a couple seriously disabled, it would be inhumane to force the removal of a dog who is already close to the end of its life. If God was present at this hearing, and no doubt God will be present, would the ruling be in favour of the three dogs remaining with their beloved owners? it is often said that there is no justice, there is only the law. Can you provide justice for this family? Can you find it in your heart and perhaps in the law to keep this family together? In the name of God and love do the right thing here. PLEASE!!!

A 3 Pound dog... Please reconsider the order, and allow the family to stay together. Thank you for your time and consideration. Respectfully and sincerely, D. Carpenter

My question to whoever may be in the position of making a decision here: What if YOU were in the same position? What would YOU like to have happen to YOU? Please consider allowing this family to remain a FAMILY - humans and animals as one. A decision should embody common sense, a sense of fairness, and most of all, compassion. .....regards, djh.....
