Dear Mr. Zell, There are certain constants in this world whose names shouldn't be changed. When the powers-that-be at Northwestern changed the name of Dyche Stadium, in spite of documents guaranteeing that name in perpetuity, your paper had a hissy fit. And rightly so. For this Northwestern alumna, who still calls Chicago "my second home," Wrigley Field is another such constant. It's been the Chicago Cubs playing at Wrigley Field practically since time began. And that's the way it should stay. When tourists come to visit, a game at Wrigley is mandatory, even if just to say "I was there." When I come to visit (and a trip home is long overdue), I want to go to Wrigley Field as my way of saying "Welcome Home." Please, Mr. Zell, keep Wrigley Field my home and tell any future buyers that the name Wrigley Field is not for sale. Thank you, Laini M. Wolman, BSJ, MBA, MSLS Medill '98

I believe that Wrigley is the last bastion of baseball purity. The best thing that the people of the city of Chicago and baseball fans worldwide need is that this park stay the way it is. After that, nothing is scared in baseball, Wrigley Field means so much to me as well as every fan of the franchise and baseball in general. I would be deeply saddened if anything where to change with that.

Wrigley Field was always a place my family and I went when we would be visiting family in Chicago throughout my childhood. It is a place I will always hold dear in my heart and I do not feel I would have the same correlation towards the location if there was a name change.

Keep Wrigley Fields Name. The suburb Wrigleyville is one of the greatest places in the United States. By changing the name your taking away from baseball history. A place where dreams have been made and records have been broken. Please keep it Wrigley!

Please dont change the name of Wrigley Field. It would be like taking my childhood away form me and destroying it. I always feel happy as I look back on all of the games and friends and family I spent a day at wrigley field with . Please dont take away a piece of history, a chicago icon, and the heart of millions of people in chicago. I know hundreds of people that have said when they die they want to be scattered over wrigley field. I know im not alone when I say I would never recover from it.

I can't believe someone would be so anti-American families that they would even CONSIDER changing the name from Wrigley Field. Wrigley is not only part of my very dear family memories and history, its a part of any Cubs' fan heart. Anyone knows that Cubs fans are loyal even if Cubs are sucking it up. Renaming Wrigley would be like putting a stake through the heart of every Chicagoan. And I haven't lived near Chicago for 30+ years.

I grew up in Chicago and this is a LANDMARK and should remain Wrigley. The Wrigley family has a long history in the Chicagoland area and this is one way to preserve that legacy!

The name must remain Wrigley. It ought to still be Comiskey as well....Is nothing sacred?? 'Selling' the naming rights is an abomination.

Would you change the name of the Stayue of Liberty? How about the Grand Canyon? Wrigley Field is an historical icon. Some things cannot be about money. Go Cubs Go!

I first went to Wrigley when I was 2 and I go about 20 times a season. It would not be the same without the name. If you want to change the name from Wrigley you should be a Sox fan (EVIL)

I am a fourteen year old die-hard Cubs fan and have been since 2003, ironically the year... well I don't have to say anything else. I take every chance I get to visit our good old Cubbies at Wrigley. I sick of corporate America ruining our traditions and culture. Hopefully I am making a difference by taking part in this awesome movement.

I have been going to Wrigley Field since I was a child. When I come into town to visit in the summers, Wrigley is one of my first destinations to see a game. Please leave the name along with the history of the field alone. Wrigley stands for more than some corporate entity.

I believe that Cubs fans are friendly, civilized, people that come out simply to enjoy the love of the game in an iconic field with an iconic team. However, I have to also believe that if Wrigley Field's name is changed there will be riots in the streets of Chioago. It would be a devastating loss for our city!!

I've lived in Chicago all of my life, and gradually our unique landmarks have been stripped of their authenticity by having their original names changed. Kaminsky Park became U.S. Cellular Field. Marshall Fields, our iconic store, became Macy's. It is unfortunate that companies are selling out and doing away with the names that make our city unique. I pledge to boycott the products/services of any company that buys the naming rights to beloved Wrigley Field.
