Prevent Future Horse Deaths on "Luck"!

To its credit, HBO's new horse-racing series "Luck" exposes the darker side of racing, including the abuse that racehorses suffer regularly. Unfortunately, two horses used in the series have already died -- one horse suffered an injury during a race sequence and was later euthanized, while a second horse died while filming another episode.

Prior to filming, PETA contacted series creator and producers to discuss safety measures that would have prevented these casualties. Their efforts were not taken seriously.

Please sign the petition to convince the producers of "Luck" to comply with PETA's suggestions and prevent future casualties on the set.
We, the undersigned, are concerned about the two horse deaths connected to filming of HBO's series "Luck." Prior to filming, PETA contacted production to discuss safety measures  to consider while working with horses, but their efforts were not taken seriously. We believe that complying with PETA's suggestions would have prevented these unfortunate casualties.

The series "Luck" is commendable for exposing the dark side of horse racing, including the abuses that horses suffer regularly. Unfortunately, this message is tarnished by the preventable horse endangerment currently taking place on the set.

Please comply with PETA's suggestions to prevent any horses from suffering and/or dying while filming future episodes. Thank you for taking the time to read and consider our petition.
