Puppy Mills MUST STOP!

Puppy Mills MUST STOP!

Target:
Everyone across the nation
Sponsored by:

My goal is to have 1million signatures to make Puppy Mills and Kitty Mills illegal in the U.S.  I need to start somewhere but I need your help to make this possible.  I feel that if I had that many signatures, it will shed more light as to what's happening in our country and MAYBE just MAYBE something can be DONE.  This MUST STOP AND PEOPLE NEED TO SEE WHAT REALLY HAPPENS TO THESE ANIMALS.

If you have an animal look at him/her.  Now picture them having horrific wounds to their body, not eating for so long that some die of starvation, having injuries that haven't been treated, and picture them being in crates so small they can't even sit up.

We are their voices and WE need to do something.  I know some people are going to think it's impossible to try to make this a law, but just imagine if it happened.  Please, I can't do this on my own.  Help make a difference in the lives that can't help themselves.

I am absolutely horrified that this is allowed to go on. Rescue a dog from the pound or RSPCA. Give them a life.

I am sitting with the newest member of our family, Chip. He is a rescue so I don't know where he came from, but no doubt his partents are victims of inhumane breeders. He has no hair, he does not have the correct number of teeth, and he is bowlegged. Despite his defects he is an overall happy, healthy dog. I am so grateful we were in a position to rescue him.

Puppy Mills destroy a pet. The animals are usually unstable and life in theses Mills are a disgusting way to raise and breed dogs, which are man's best friend literally!

I bought my puppy at a pet store mr.puppy in tyrone mall in st pete fl 7 years ago.I had no idea at the time my puppy came from a puppy mill i didnt even know anything about them.Well i soon found out that i had a very very sick little puppy he had intestinal parasites ,ear mites, ear infections, blood in his stool,he could keep any food down, he was dying.I took him to the vet and it took close to 3 thousand dollars to keep him alive.I called the pet store and told them .There response was that they would replace my puppy with another one. They treated it like my sweet little puppy was an appliance that i bought and didnt work.Of coarse i didnt take them up on there offer i loved my little dog and i knew they would just kill him they were heartless.I then started to research were these animals come from at the pet store and i was horrified. How cruel and in humane. These poor little animals lived lifes full off suffering. How could a human be so cruel to helpless animals who all they want is some one to love them and they can love back.Well its time for all people to stand up and fight and drive these monsters out of buissness. It breaks my heart .We all see on the news these terrible acts of cruely and violence committed against helpless animals and we dont want to watch becuase its to painfull to see. WELL ITS TIME TO OPEN OUR EYES AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.I urge anyone with a with a heart to get involved in any and every way to stop this.My sweet little puppy is now 7 years old and i am so thankfull that im the one who picked him out becuase im not so sure if he went home with someone else they would have made the finacial commitment to get him healthy. And i am not a wealthy person.I hope my experience will possible change someones mind about buying a pet at a pet store .Go to a shelter and rescue a pet trust me they know your rescuing them you will be there hero and the will love you for the rest of there lives.

We are demanding that state legislators, governors and senators help put a stop to this kind of inhumane treatment of these poor animals. This is blantant cruelty and millions of these puppies end up in animals shelters every year because people cannot or will not continue for these dogs. This is shameful and no kind of life for an innocent animals that just want to be loved. I believe the busine$$ of puppy mills is uncivilized and I just find it hard to believe that the state, local and federal governments don't consider it important enough to investigate and stop this cruel treatment of puppies so that people can make a quick buck. The taxpayers of this country end up spending hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars, to operate animal shelter across the USA taking in these poor unwanted dogs. Please help us do something to stop the practice of puppy mills, especially in PA, VA, MD and other states.

I recently had to put my lovable "Lady" (a Cocker Spaniel) to sleep. She was 11 years old. I purchased Lady at a pet store. It was love at first sight and I'll never forget her. Unfortunately, she was sick from the moment we brought her home. I took her to the vet at least monthly. I wouldn't change a thing because I love her so much! But, had she been conceived and born at a reputable breeders, I've been told she probably wouldn't have had so many things wrong with her, and she wouldn't have suffered all her life. She didn't deserve it, she was nothing but LOVE and LOYALTY! Please stop these damn puppy mills.

Since I was a little girl, I often visted my local Pet City and spent as much time as I could staring at the little dogs in tiny, cramped cubicles. I noticed none of them looked particularly healthy - half of them sulked in corners, and the other half lunged at the glass separating us, whimpering and begging me to take them home. Of course, my parents never let me. After I found out about puppy mills, I never went back to Pet City again. Instead, I took in an abandoned Westie from the streets, and he has never had any health problems. I completely support and encourage adoption from shelters, and I would never advise anyone to buy from a pet store.
