On Tuesday July 28, 2009, Mayor Eric Perrodin, Councilwoman Barbara Calhoun and Councilwoman Lillie Dobson voted to spend $20 million to bring back the Compton Police Dept.  This vote was in direct opposition to the will of the majority of the citizens of Compton.  Members of the City Council have also violated the trust of the people who elected them. Therefore, the citizens of Compton are demanding the recall of Mayor Eric Perrodin, Councilwoman Barbara Calhoun, Copuncilwoman Lillie Dobson, Councilwoman Yvonne Arceneaux, and city clerk Alita Godwin.  The Committee is also demanding the recall of Mesure "L".  Please help us  by signing this petition to recall.  Also, if you would like to join the committee to recall, please send and email to: recallcitycouncil@att.net. SAVE OUR CITY!  RECALL THE COMPTON CITY COUNCIL!

We the undersigned, being citizens and registered voters of the City of Compton, California, do hereby demand the recall of Mayor Perrodin, Councilwoman Barbara Calhoun, and Councilwoman Lillie Dobson.  These Council members have violated the trust of the citizens who elected them and it is time for them to be removed from office.
