come on and lets get this through to government! elephants cry too. all animals deserve to live just as we do. they are called "wild" animals for a reason. being forced to perform stupid tricks for unknowing circus goers is wrong. if everyone knew the pain these animals suffer, not only physically but mentally too, i can only hope people would NOT go. i hope also that if government does pass this law that they can regulate who can open these animal sanctuary. we wouldn't want some old circus trainer coming in to do it.

Dear Congress Member: Please consider banning circus animal acts. Circus animals are often treated inhumanely -- especially when not under the watchful eye. Banning circus animals will obviate the need to cage and otherwise detain or keep animals from their own habitats -- much like keeping a human in prison and enslaving her/him. Please make this a consideration on your law-making agenda. I understand there are many other pending issues, but please get and keep humane issues on the agenda! It is high time that the world learnt to respect animals and all living things. We should live together in harmony, not destroy their environment and then wipe them out to make more space for the human race. Animals should not be used for our amusement, and those working in circuses are generally treated very badly - this is wrong and has to be stopped.
