This is a gray wolf pup who has lost it's parents because of hunters.

Save Gray Wolves

Target:
To Stop Killing Gray Wolves.
It has taken 13 years for the gray wolves to get off the endangered list. Considering that when a species is on the endangered list we are not allowed to hunt or kill these species, but if they get off the endangered list people can hunt these species again, this will cause the gray wolves to be pushed back to the endangered list. This petition is to protect the wolves and stop killing them.

These animals were put on Earth for a reason. And that's to be recignized as one of many angelic species on this here planet.Without them, the prey animals that they feed on might overflow in population. They're an important part of the food chain, and that's NOT to be hunted FOR SPORT!Everything, animals, plants, humans, everything, should earn the respect of each other.I mean,as I'm typing right now, some wolf pup in Idaho might be starving in the cold. These beautiful animals are just about gone from this planet,I'm glad I'm doing this.

It is an out cry to slaughter an animal that has come back from near extinction only to be wiped out again.

I would like to have gray wolves kept on the endangered list. If ranchers found loss of animals from wolves would have to show proof before could shut one. I understand both sides but no way want wolves to be strictly hunted for the sport of it or trapped!!!

Wolves are an important link in their natural habitats. Education is the key to understanding these maligned and misunderstood animals. We should do all we can to restore the balance of coexistence between man and nature.

To respect life, you must respect ALL life. Future generations deserve to know and love all species of animals not just the convenient ones. The current Administration is supposed to be an educated group. How could they let this happen?
# 702:

I am upset at the administration's decision to revoke the gray wolf's endangered status. The administration had taken a green stand on the environment and yet they're bowing under the pressure of the ranchers and the hunter's organization in a clear reversal of their stand. Environmental also means realizing that endangered wildlife also falls under this and I think that they are listening to some bad scientific advice and they need to start listening to people outside of those who have an interest in destroying these beautiful creatures. Every living thing has a connection to the other and who knows what the detrimental effects of killing off an endangered species could cause.

Wolves used to be a common sight in Northern America before the 1930's now you tell me when was the last time you saw one of these kings of the land? Did you know that the mortality rate of wolf cubs is 50% ONLY counting natural causes, that doesn't even include death due to loss of pack due to hunting/poaching. Theres a song about the US and these are some of the lyrics: "This land is your land, this land is my land From California, to the New York Island From the redwood forest, to the gulf stream waters This land was made for you and me As I was walking a ribbon of highway I saw above me an endless skyway I saw below me a golden valley This land was made for you and me" BUT before we even stepped foot on this land and made it the land of "you and me" and "opportunity" THEY ruled it. It was theirs and if anyone wants to claim to know the definition of respect they need to share this land with its natural owners not steal their lives and land day after day. People are just as barbaric as they were when they first came to this country.

Today wolves including the gray wolf are being hunted and slaughtered. Why? FOR FUN!! That`s right for fun.It has taken 13 years for the gray wolf to get off the endangered list. When a species are on the endangered list thay are not to be hunted or killed. If an animal gets off the endangered list it is again allowed to be hunted. This will cause gray wolves to be pushed back on the endangered list. So please sapport my cause.SAVE THE WOLVES

allowing the great wolves to be hunted will just put them back on the endangered species list, counter production is stupid we need to think with our minds not a gun. see them for the beautiful animal that they are and not just a fur something our other in someones house.

What kind of sense does it make to take the gray wolf off the Endereged Species list, open it up to hunting again, and them have to put them back on the Endangered Species list once they dwindle in population again? With enough response from hunters, at one wolf per hunter, it would not take long to hurt the survival of the gray wolf in Montana and Idaho. Hunting the gray wolf is a very negative action for the acencies to take--please put them back on the Endengered Species list for their survival and our benefit. For today and TOMORROW!

Wolves are not pests. They help our ecosystem out so much; we can't live without them! Plus, they're really cute. :)
# 659:
8:17 am PDT, Oct 1, Leah Albin, California
We have already seen the devestation that overhunting of gray wolves can cause. The idea that these animals are "pests" is not enough of an excuse to begin hunting them again. Reducing numbers and genetic information of the species will do nothing but eventually make them extinct. The population already has limited genetic variation which could cause major problems down the road. Hunting more of these animals will just reduce the genetics even more. Hunting must not be allowed. Put these magnificent animals back on the endangered species list!

This creature deserve the chance to live. The may cause some issues here and there but they are carnivores its what they do. I you look into their eyes you can see sooooo much in them. Its a shame to let these majestic (sorry if that spelled wrong) and beautiful creatures go.
