We the undersigned are saddened and frustrated by ruling in this regards and asked our elected officials to grant a variance to this structure. Variances are granted in municipalities across the USA on a daily basis.
Each of us are supporters of the "YURT" and find great value in the service of offering donation based yoga classes there. To some it even represents a sacred space, to other a great example of the culture and lifestyle of our great city of Encinitas.
Each of us are consumers and voters. We support the downtown mainstreet corridor businesses as a result of our routine of going to the "YURT" for yoga practice.
We are asking that our city council of the city of Encinitas, find some solution for this place which has become something of an institution and known far beyond our city limits.
We urge the city council of the city of Encinitas, to act swiftly so that are place to practice yoga is preserved.
