Stop Vermilion Parish Rabies Animal Control

Kaplan Pound is located in Vermilion Parish, LA.  They guarantee animals to be held only 4 days, with no chance of public adoption. After the holding period, they are gassed – a process that can take hours.

Due to these policies, potential rescuers have too short of notice to locate and place animals in foster homes.  Please don’t let Kaplan Pound continue to operate with such cruelty and hopelessness. Too many animals are surrendered only to meet with such a terrible fate.
