It seems that people in gangs or crowds (men, I'm afraid) are capable of commiting horrendous acts. I suppose any doubters would look around them and see how everyone else was acting and then they would perceive their acts to be permissable. I wish folk would think for themselves and act ethically.

I am shocked that a country such as Denmark should be party to this. I have visited Denamrk on a number of occasions and had fond memories of the place... but this has saddened me deeply. Dolphins save lives of a drwoning child. they bring depressed people solacs from their dark prison. This act of violence on these beautiful creatures is rotally aborrent and shameful..

This horrible thing is done in the Faroe Islands, not mainland Denmark, but being part of that country it´s awful enough, even thow they only kill these small whales for themselves, it seems to much! If the sea goes red they ahve to kill at leat about 100 of them! Also being Europeans I´m sure they can live from other things, like tourism or sheep farming, or fishing in a sustanbable way. What´s sad about whales is that they are mamals, even thow water ones, and are very close to dolphins and humns. I hope the Danish goverment make them reduce the ammount they kill, that would be an improvment. Even if it´s a tradition, it can´t be justified like bullfighting in Spain, Portugal and France etc. All of these are horrible acts against Nature! Adam from Catalunya. (spain)
