Stop the Industrial Wind Turbines

Hello friends.
We were recently informed that there are a series of Industrial Wind Turbines slated to be installed in our area and we're seeking your support in having these mammoth machines and their parent company seek alternative locations.
As a professional skydiving facility your safety is our primary concern and these industrial wind turbines create a definite hazard to your skydiving enjoyment and our daily operations.
Standing over 450 feet high, and on the exact wind line that prevails from April through October, these machines will, without doubt, be on the mind of every jumper here at Skydive Burnaby. We are not the only skydiving facility that will be impeded by these installments. Both Skydive Toronto and Niagara Skydiving have wind turbines potentially being installed nearby so, outside of the scope of Skydive Burnaby, your skydiving fun or career will be drastically changed here in Ontario if these plans continue.
Beyond the skydiving community these wind turbines also have some major negative effects on the community as well, reducing property values, creating potential illnesses and causing a disturbance to all people who live nearby.
