I love all animals- Horses are so beautiful. It must be HORRIBLE for them to have to spend everyday practicing for a race. Then they come back to their stall hurting and bleeding -only to have to go again the next day.They are beat if they do not do good enough or win. If they win- the owner gets all the rewards and they get older and most likely 'put down' or retire and not wanted anymore. Where is the compassion for such beautiful animals? STOP this inhumanity- yes- it is a lot like the dog mills. People commit unspeakable crimes- they get fed and watch t.v. and communicate through internet with the outside world. They get undeserved compassion- give the compassion and love to Horses- they deserve it!

How pathetic are the observers and profiteers of this shameless sport to have reduced themselves to such barbaric exploitation of these wonderful animals. My recommendation from here on out is that each time one of these animals is euthanized, we also euthanize it's trainer and jockey.
