Why not have a national database of domestic violence felons and repeat offenders. Misery and death could be avoided. Some might argue it would be a privacy issue, but I disagree: the offenders already violated their partners' trust when they decided to cause them harm or death. Last year, California passed legislation that would would require the Attorney General to develop an online database that would report the name, date of birth, county and date of conviction for individuals convicted of felony domestic violence or multiple counts of misdemeanor domestic violence. Yes, to stop the hypocrisy of the system which in fact do not give real protection to the women when she violated. Part of the procedures in fact turn out to be an intimidation to the women which shall prove what is already evident.

I have been through this kind of relationship and I strongly agree that the law should have tougher sentencing for people who do that kind of thing. I really empathize with all the women and children out in the world who are abused. Please make tougher laws and sentencing there have been far too many victims and far too many deaths already.
